It may have been a regular pre-season classic game that doesn't count on the record book, but you couldn't tell Manatee as they quickly exorcised the demons of last year state finals lost to Plant with a thumping over defending 5A champions Tampa Plant Panthers.

In front of over 5,000 screaming fans Jefferson High School was the setting for what was anticipated to be the game of the year for Hillsborough County fitting undefeated Tampa Plant with their All State Quarterback and Alabama commit Robert Marve against Tampa Jefferson and they’re All State Quarterback Stephen Garcia.

Outstanding. That’s the one word that comes to mind when speaking about Tampa Hillsborough quarterback/athlete Jarred Fayson. His excellent ability to beat you with the pass or with the run makes Fayson one of the most dangerous players in the state.
