#94 Christian Hill LB 6 feet, 195 pounds
Measurables: 6 Feet 195 Pounds
Comparable Talent:
Overall Grade: 20.8
Athleticism: 5.2
Excellent athlete is extremely quick and has very good speed. He is exceptionally fluid I would even go as far to say that he has the hips and foot speed to play safety. However he fits better at the linebacker position because we feel he will get to big to play safety and is much more effective when he can play down hill from the line backer position regardless.
Field Presence: 4.0
Instinctive, is great at anticipating plays and is physical at the point of attack. He will need to get stronger before he is prepared to play at the next level.
Potential: 4.5
Still has a lot of refining to do but we believe that he is capable of being a very good player at the next level. He will need to play in a scheme that allows him to utilize his athleticism to his advantage otherwise he will be much less effective as a linebacker. He will be a great special teams player.
Stature: 4.1
6 foot is a decent height for a linebacker but not ideal. 195 pounds at linebacker screams red shirt to me unless he is needed on special teams. He looks to be done growing so he needs to start putting on weight his frame suggests he can max out at the 215-230 range.
Technique: 3.0
Hill is a wrestler which means he is great with his hands which makes it tough for him to stay blocked unless his opponent has a significant strength advantage and an excellent tackler. His tackling technique needs a little work because his competition at the next level will be bigger and stronger so it will be imperative that he limits the arm tackles and wraps up when he goes for big sticks.
