#96 Kadeem Thomas, LB, 5 feet 11 inches 220 pounds
Measurables: 5 Feet 11 inches 220 Pounds
Comparable Talent:
Overall Grade: 20.7
Athleticism: 5.0
Has played Corner and played well in his career that should tell you what type of athlete Thomas is. He is great at pursuing the ball and is very fluid in his hips for a LB or even a safety. He appears to be strong enough to play Line backer at the next level.
Field Presence: 3.2
By the end of the year Thomas may be a four star because this grade may change drastically. But, for now we would like to see Thomas be a little more instinctive at the Linebacker position as we feel that instincts are a key component to playing that position well. He plays with the swagger you want to see from a great player, he will be great in coverage, and he sees the field very well.
Potential: 5.4
Kadeem hasn’t played the position for his entire career like many greats have so it is very unlikely that he has scratched the surface of his immense potential. This recruit has all of the tools to leave college as a 2nd or maybe even 1st round pick if he develops into the monster he is capable of being.
Stature: 4.6
Nearly 6 feet tall and at upwards of 220 pounds as a linebacker is good size for an incoming freshman. We are curious to see if he continues to grow if he does this grade will improve as well.
Technique: 2.5
We want to see him shed blocks, read guard pulls, backpedal, stem, etc. Once we are able to verify that these are things he is capable of doing this grade is subject to change.
