Should we be concerned about steroids, and performance enhancement drugs affecting our high school athletes males and females?

Apr 17, 2008

We as coaches and parents have the responsibility of knowing what our kids are involved in at all times. Getting the edge on the competition by injecting steroids or popping a super pill is wrong, immoral, and very unsportsmanlike. I feel it’s a disgrace to the creed of all sports, and inhumane.

How do we really combat this problem before it spills into our high school locker rooms and become an epidemic? I want to hear your feedback and all the different views about this subject. There are no right or wrong answers, mainly your strong opinions.
